Job Description:

Hybrid role reports to Kansas City office once per week.

Job description

Responsible for managing relationships with dental providers within their assigned market/network(s).  As such, spends most time communicating with providers to both recruit and grow the network(s) and to maintain existing provider relationships.  Works collaboratively to address provider outreach as needed to support business objectives.

Preferred skills

  • Dental knowledge with five (5) or more years of provider relations experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED  (or relevant work experience)
  • 3 years' related work experience in healthcare environment
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills / relationship building
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make good judgment conclusions based on data available with minimal supervision.    

Responsibilities

  • Grow and maintain and service the dental network(s) within their market as needed to support strategic direction and priorities.
  • Analyze and monitor network reports in order to target recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Actively support distribution as needed.
  • Maintain network participation by providing support to dentists and dental office managers.
  • Educate providers on network best practices.
  • Promote dentist adoption of technology solutions by promoting web applications and increasing the volume of electronic claims. 
  • Seek continuous improvements by recommending changes in internal methods and procedures.
  • Represent network(s) and company at trade shows, health fairs, dental summits, etc. throughout the designated market as needed.
  • Maintain and submit all required reports.
  • Develop complete understanding of the networks / products and plans including Dentist Guides nationally and or regionally as needed.
  • Negotiate fee schedules with dental practices in accordance with pre established targets
  • Provide recommended solutions to market related issues. 
  • Respond to provider issues and assist in problem resolution. Including but not limited to claim resolution, service related concerns, regulatory monitoring (quality of care). 
  • Other projects and tasks related to dental provider relations as assigned.
